Dilmah Tea Malaysia - About Dilmah Contest - Instagram only Terms & Conditions:

The Dilmah Tea Malaysia - About Dilmah Contest ("Contest") is carried out by Dilmah Tea Malaysia ("Dilmah Tea Malaysia") and Zeno Public Relations (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd. (“Zeno”).

Dilmah Tea Malaysia and Zeno are the administrators of the Contest. By participating in this Contest, the person doing so shall be taken to have fully and unconditionally agreed to be bound by the terms and conditions stated hereinafter:

1. Eligibility:

a) No purchase or payment is required to participate in this Contest. The Contest is open to all those residing in Malaysia ("Participant").

b) The Participant has to be an individual who is a legal resident of Malaysia and is at the date of entry 18 years of age or older.

2. Campaign Period:

This Contest commences from 13th October - 27th October 2021. Dilmah Tea Malaysia reserves the right to amend the campaign period for any reason whatsoever.

3. Method of Entry:

a) Participants must perform all of the following to qualify for the contest: i. Must “Follow” Dilmah Tea Malaysia Instagram page and “Like” the contest post. ii. Tag 3 friends in the comment section of the contest post.

iii. Tell us the name of Dilmah Tea’s founder in the comment section of the contest post.

iv. Repost the contest post on IG stories and tag @dilmahteamalaysia.

b) Dilmah Tea Malaysia reserves the right to amend and/or remove all or any messages that are submitted to the Contest, without giving prior or any notice to participants.

c) Any enquiry and/or complaint pertaining to any amendment or removal of messages will not be entertained.

d) Participants may submit multiple entries, but will only be eligible to win one (1) Prize.

e) All entries shall become the property of Dilmah Tea Malaysia and all information contained therein may be used in future content or for other marketing purposes across all platforms including but not limited to digital, print and broadcast.

4. Prizes and Selection of Winners:

a) The Winner Announcement will be made within 1 week after the contest period end date in the comment section of the IG Contest post.

b) All Winners will be contacted by Dilmah Tea Malaysia’s appointed agency, Zeno Public Relations (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (981602-K).

c) One (1) Grand Winner and Ten (10) Consolation Prize Winners will be selected to win the following prizes:

i. One (1) Grand Winner will be selected to win :

a. One (1) set of Dilmah Single Estate Luxury Line Range

b. One (1) Dilmah Melton Tea Pot

ii. Ten (10) Consolation Prize Winners will be selected to win one (1) random selection of Dilmah Single Estate (“Consolation Prize”) each.

5. Winners will be selected with the below criteria:

a) Compliant to Method of Entry.

b) Eleven (11) participants will be selected randomly through a computerised system. c) One (1) of the eleven (11) selected winners to win the Grand Prize.

d) Ten (10) of the eleven (11) selected winners will win the Consolation Prize.

6. Prize Terms

a) The Prize is not transferable, refundable in cash or replaceable if lost, destroyed or stolen.

b) Dilmah Tea Malaysia shall not be held liable should the Prize be invalid upon Winners’ receipt.

c) The Prize is not exchangeable for items in kind, and is not transferable. Dilmah Tea Malaysia reserves the right to change the Prize at its discretion to another Prize of similar or lesser value without any prior notice. All selected winners who have been notified and contacted are deemed final.

d) The Prize is exclusive of all charges that may be incurred by the Winners (if any), such as taxes, levies, fees and are subject to any other terms and conditions as may be imposed by Dilmah Tea Malaysia from time to time. Dilmah Tea Malaysia’s decision in this matter shall be final and no correspondence shall be entertained.

7. Notification:

a) Winners will be notified through the comment section of the About Dilmah Contest post (https://www.instagram.com/dilmahteamalaysia/).

b) Dilmah Tea Malaysia shall have the rights to publish the Instagram names of the Winners in any of Dilmah Tea Malaysia’s websites, social media sites, the newspapers and/or in its promotional materials without further notice. Non-acceptance of this clause may result in an alternative Winner being chosen. Winners are personally responsible for ensuring that their personal particulars, contact details, email address and mailing address have been accurately submitted.

c) Dilmah Tea Malaysia shall not be held responsible or liable for any late, misdirected, lost or unsuccessful efforts to notify the Winners.

d) Where any Prize has been forfeited, Dilmah Tea Malaysia may, at its sole discretion, give the forfeited Prize to another Participant from the remaining eligible entries. In

such an instance, this other Participant shall be selected using a method to be determined by Dilmah Tea Malaysia at its sole discretion.

e) Replacement Winners will be tagged on a separate Winners Announcement in the comment section of the post. Replacement Winners are to provide the requested details within seven (7) working days upon the Winners Announcement. Replacement Winners who have not responded within the stipulated period shall be forfeited by Dilmah Tea Malaysia and there will be no further winner replacement at this point.

8. Prize Distribution:

a) Dilmah Tea Malaysia will distribute or present the Prize to the Winners within 30 working days upon the Winners Announcement.

b) Dilmah Tea Malaysia expressly disclaims any and all liabilities arising from any lost, damaged or unsuccessful transmission of the Prize. The Winners hereby agree to the use of their names, nicknames, photographs, voice or video recordings, and other information obtained from them for the purpose of publicity, advertising, trade or promotion in any media by Dilmah Tea Malaysia without any prior consent or compensation.

c) The Winners are to provide the requested details within 7 working days upon the Winners Announcement. Winners who have not responded within the stipulated period shall be forfeited by Dilmah Tea Malaysia.

d) Dilmah Tea Malaysia reserves the right to request for written proof of residency and of the age of the Winners before the Prize is dispatched, collected or presented.

9. Disclaimers:

a) By entering the Contest, each Participant agrees that Dilmah Tea Malaysia, its respective employees, officers, directors, agents, affiliates, parent and subsidiaries shall not be liable or responsible for damages, losses, injuries, rights, claims or actions of any kind in connection with the Contest, or resulting from acceptance, possession, use/misuse of prizes, or participation in the Contest, including without

limitation, personal injury, death, property damage and claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy.

b) Each Participant further agrees that Dilmah Tea Malaysia will not be responsible or liable for any entries that are late (including delayed data transmissions), tampered with, garbled, incomplete, misdirected, lost, mutilated, delayed, corrupted, duplicated or otherwise not in compliance with these Terms and Conditions.

c) Campaign Sponsors are not and will not be responsible or liable for any injury or damage to the Participant's or to any other person's computer relating to or resulting from entering or downloading materials in connection with this Contest. Campaign Sponsors are not responsible for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission due to technical, hardware, software or telephone malfunctions of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, communications line failure, server failure, or failed, incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate, garbled, or delayed electronic communications caused by the Participant or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Contest or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Website, or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in this Contest, or any combination thereof.

d) By taking part in this Contest, you have understood and given your consent for Dilmah Tea Malaysia to collect, use and disclose your personal data in accordance to the Privacy Declaration

10. Submission of Unlawful Material:

a) Individuals or Participants should not submit any Unlawful Material in the course of participating in the Contest, or use the Contest to upload, post, email, transmit or otherwise make available such Unlawful Material. The participants will indemnify Dilmah Tea Malaysia for all of Dilmah Tea Malaysia’s losses that may arise from submission of any Unlawful Material. "Unlawful Material" shall include (but not be limited to) any sexually explicit ideas or material or any idea or material that is

unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortuous, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically, or otherwise objectionable or infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other proprietary rights of another. Dilmah Tea Malaysia reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to delete unlawful material and disqualify any such individual or Participant, and to bar the individual or Participant from participating in any other contest or promotions, permanently or for such period of time as Dilmah Tea Malaysia shall decide. Dilmah Tea Malaysia’s decision in this matter shall be final and no correspondence shall be entertained.

11. Disqualification:

a) Dilmah Tea Malaysia reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual that it determines to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest, to be acting in breach or potential breach of these Terms and Conditions. Dilmah Tea Malaysia’s decision in this matter shall be final and no correspondence shall be entertained. Dilmah Tea Malaysia further reserves the right to cancel, modify, suspend or delay the Contest for any reason whatsoever.

12. General Terms and Conditions:

a) The laws of Malaysia shall govern this Contest. This Contest is void where prohibited or restricted by any local, national, state, or any governmental laws. This Contest is also subject to these Terms and Conditions.

b) Dilmah Tea Malaysia reserves the right to change the qualifying/selection criteria and allocation of Prizes from time to time at Dilmah Tea Malaysia’s absolute discretion.

c) Dilmah Tea Malaysia also reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions, and to suspend, terminate or vary the Contest with or without notice to the Participants.

d) The mode of notification (if any) of suspension, termination or variation shall be at Dilmah Tea Malaysia’s sole discretion, including but not limited to displaying the same in any of Dilmah Tea Malaysia’s website or social media sites.

e) Dilmah Tea Malaysia’s decision on any and/or all matters relating to the Contest including the selection of the names of the winners, the terms and conditions herein or any amendments to the same shall be final, binding and conclusive and no correspondence will be entertained.
