The Organiser

1. The Organiser of the Contest is Spades Burger Sdn. Bhd.

Contest Period

1. The Contest period is from 15 January 2022 (12.01 am Malaysian Time) and will end on 15 February 2022 (11.59 pm Malaysian Time) (the “Contest Period”).

Eligibility

1. This Contest is open to all Malaysian residents age 18 and above (as of January 2022) subject to other criteria set out below, the Standard Terms and Conditions, the terms and conditions herein, and the relevant laws of Malaysia except employees and immediate family members of Spades Burger Sdn. Bhd., their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising/PR agencies, and suppliers.

2. Submissions from participants under the age of 18 (as of January 2022) are assumed to have parental consent prior to participation in the Contest. For such participants, the Organiser considers it the responsibility of parents and/or guardians to monitor participants’ participation in this Contest.

How to Participate in the Contest

Step 1: Purchase any of the participating Spade’s Combo meals and Coca‐Cola drinks worth RM20 (before tax) and above in proof of purchase/receipts from participating outlets during the Contest Period. Only in‐store purchase is accepted. Purchases made by GrabFood will not be eligible to participate.

Participating Spades Products: All products (collectively referred to as “Participating Spades Products”)
Participating Partner Products: “Coca‐Cola”, “Sprite”, “Fanta”, “Heaven and Earth”, “Minute Maid”, and “Minute Maid Refresh”

Snap a picture of the receipt (front) and upload it to the form. Must be readable and clear. Please safely keep the original receipt(s) for verification purposes, failing which, the Organiser shall forfeit the Prize.

a) Participant(s) may purchase and send multiple receipts within the Contest Period, as long as it can be accumulated under the same full name and NRIC Number with a minimum of RM20 (before tax) of participating brands at Participating Outlets.

b) The Organiser reserves the right to reject any entry that is not submitted in the required manner as indicated above including but not limited to, entries with incorrect or incomplete information, or where the Receipt is altered, duplicated, defective, is invalid, and will be automatically disqualified from the Contest.

Judging Criteria

a) To complete all instructions as per Clause 3.0 (How to Participate).

b) The Organiser will select 186 winners based on the compilation of the Top 186 Spenders (Amount spent) on Participating Products at Participating Chains by the Organiser during the Contest Period.

c) Participant(s) may purchase and send multiple receipts within the Contest Period, as long as it can be accumulated under the same full name and NRIC Number within the Contest Period. The compilation will be done based on the date, time, and amount spent printed on the Receipt received via Google Form by the Organiser. Only 186 top spenders throughout the Contest Period will be selected to win the Contest Prize.

d) In the event of a draw between Participants, the winner will be the Participant who has accumulated the total purchased amount at the earliest date (within the Contest Period).

e) Each Participant is only allowed to win one (1) prize from the Contest.

f) The Organiser reserves the right to substitute any winning prize with a prize of similar value, with or without notice.

g) The Prizes are non‐refundable, non‐transferable, and non‐exchangeable for cash credit or any other items. Prizes not redeemed within the notified period will be forfeited.

h) The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify and remove any Participant from the Contest without prior notification or disclosure of information should the Participant be suspected of tampering with their entries or breach the Contest terms and conditions.

i) The Organiser’s decision is final. No further correspondence or appeal will be entertained.

Notification of Winners and Redemption of Prizes

a) Winners will be notified via email using the same email in which they entered the Contest. The winners must ensure that the data details provided to the Organiser are true, accurate, current, and complete. Winners will be informed of their winning within 14 working days from the Contest's ends date.

b) The winners must respond within three (3) days from the time when the Organiser sent the notification via email. If the winner fails to respond within three (3) days, the Organiser reserves the right to substitute the winner with a subsequent name on the list.

c) Once the winner has been verified and confirmed, prize fulfillment will be done by the Organiser’s Appointed Agent within 21 working days from the date of notification.

d) Upon redemption, the original receipt(s) of the purchase entered into the Contest must be presented as proof of purchase. The photos, notification alone does not qualify as proof of purchase.

Privacy Policy

By participating, the Participant explicitly consents that the Organiser shall store the necessary personal data of the Participant. The participant is free to revoke his or her consent to the storage of data by sending an email to the Organiser and by doing so, the participant is withdrawing his or her participation in this Contest. The Organiser will use its best endeavors to keep all personal data stored for this Contest strictly confidential.

Additional Terms

a) Each Participant agrees that he/she has read and understood these Terms of Contest and by participating in the Contest, each Participant will be deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to each of the terms and conditions appearing herein the Terms of Contest.

b) The Organiser is not responsible for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay, failure in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction, unauthorized access to, or alteration of, the user or member communications, or any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, the website, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, system, apparatus, software, failure of e‐mail or receipt of entry on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet and/or telecommunication services.

c) The Organiser reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions without prior notice.

d) The Contest Terms and Spade’s Standard Terms and Conditions (collectively “Terms and Conditions”) shall be binding on all participants who participate in this Contest. The definitions in Spade’s Standard Terms and Conditions shall apply unless otherwise expressly stated in the Contest Terms. In the event of any discrepancies between these terms and conditions and any advertising, Contest publicity, and other materials relating to or in connection with this Contest, the final terms and conditions on Spade’s website shall prevail.

e) All entries submitted for the Contest shall become the property of the Organiser. The Organiser reserves the right to use, publish, disclose or display the name, address, photograph, particulars, and/or documents of all winners for advertising and publicity purposes. The winners or their duly authorized representatives may be required to attend prize presentations and/or participate in publicity programs, which the Organiser may organise in connection with the Contest, and if so, such winner(s) or their duly authorized representatives should attend such functions at their own cost and expense.
