Gamuda Land Photo Contest Website Terms & Conditions:
By your participation in this contest in part or in full, you are deemed to have fully read, understood and accepted all the terms and conditions contained herein. If you do not agree to any of these terms and conditions, you should not participate in the contest.
General Competition Rules:
The contest is organised by The Edge Malaysia and Gamuda Land (Botanic) Sdn Bhd (Gamuda Land).
The contest is open to all Malaysians aged 18 and above
Participants are required to submit a photo. The photo must fulfil the following criteria:
Represents sustainability and biodiversity;
The photo must be captured from the following developments:
- Bandar Botanic, Klang
- Bukit Bantayan Residences, Kota Kinabalu
- Discovery Wetlands (Paya Indah Wetlands), Southern Klang Valley
- Gamuda Cove, Southern Klang Valley
- Gamuda Gardens, Sungai Buloh
- HighPark Suites, Petaling Jaya
- Horizon Hills, Iskandar Puteri, Johor
- Jade Hills, Kajang
- Kota Kemuning, Shah Alam
- Kundang Estates, Sungai Buloh
- Madge Mansions, Kuala Lumpur
- The Robertson, Kuala Lumpur
- twentyfive.7, Kota Kemuning
- Valencia, Sungai Buloh
The contest will commence from October 25, 2021 at noon (GMT +8) and will end on November 28, 2021 at 11.59pm (GMT +8) (“Contest Period”). Entries submitted out of the Contest Period will not be entertained.
All entries must be of an original which has never been published at any other platform or contest.
By entering the competition, the participant certifies that the photo does not contain nudity, profanity, trademarks, logos or copyrighted works of any other person or business.
There are no limits to the number of entries submitted by an individual. Each photo submitted must be accompanied by a caption of no more than 50 words.
The uploaded photos must be at least 3MB in size or 300 dpi and shall not exceed 10 MB. Files are to be in JPEG, JPG, TIFF, RAW or PNG format
Submissions that have won prizes in other contests or that have been submitted to other contests currently underway, including similar works, are not eligible.
The participant must not be a permanent/ temporary employee of The Edge Malaysia or Gamuda Land and/or Gamuda Bhd and/or Gamuda Bhd subsidiaries’ jointly controlled entities and associates (“Gamuda Group”) or such employee’s immediate family members, limited to parents, spouse, children and siblings
The organiser will use reasonable efforts to include accurate and up-to-date information on the contest’s website. The organiser makes no warranties or representations as to the accuracy, correctness, reliability or otherwise with respect to such information, and assumes no liability or responsibility for any omissions or errors (including, without limitation, typographical errors and technical errors) in the content.
All intellectual property rights in the photos shall be vested in the organiser and shall be and shall remain the organiser’s exclusive property. For the avoidance of doubt, the exclusive ownership of copyright (ie economic right and moral right) in the photos possessed by the participants shall cease or be deemed transferred to the organiser upon submission of the photos to the microsite/organiser.
You hereby expressly, unconditionally and irrevocably authorise the organiser to use your submissions for campaigns and product and brand marketing for free, including but not limited to using your submissions in network media, print media, printings, photography exhibitions, retail stores, road shows, digital content, out-of-home media and other marketing activities without further reference and/or payment to you.
